Sonar Festival 2018 Barcelona’s annual International Festival of Advanced Music and New Media Art.
Sonar music festival takes place over 3 days and 2 nights. In the third week of June at a variety of different venues all over the city will make its return from June 14th to June 16th 2018.
Over 123,000 people attended in 2017 and with what’s in store for Sonar Barcelona 2018 we wouldn’t be surprised if more people were to attend this year.
Since 2013 Sonar’s activities have been divided into two main locations and this year will be no different. The festival presents a daytime programme at Sonar by Day located in Fira Montjuïc and then introducing larger shows at Sonar by Night which feature all the leading names in the international music scene in Fira Gran Via de L’Hospitalet.
This year Sonar is celebrating its 25th anniversary and is promising to be its most thrilling showcase of music and cutting-edge technology ever.
